Maxwell Leadership Team
Developing Healthy Culture.
As leaders, self-care is important, and resilience to develop a healthy culture in all aspect of our life. When friends, co-workers, or team have a sense of well-being, they are more engaged in the assignments, and creative in problem solving. They also have a higher satisfaction and productivity.
Doctor Paige Graham says, “As a leader, it’s your duty to take care of others and to create an environment where others can be well.” There is an importance to creating healthy culture in the words we speak on a daily basis. Words create purpose, and direction. The clearer and uplifting our words can be, the healthier our culture will be in our surroundings.
Failing to take responsibility for ourselves is like asking a person who doesn’t truly care about us to direct our lives, and make our decisions for us. There’s no telling where we might end up! In contrast, when we do take responsibility, we set ourselves up for success because we’re doing what’s right for ourselves, and for others. John Maxwell says, “If you do the things you ought to do when you ought to do them, the day will come when you will get to do the things you want to do when you want to do them.” Responsibility is like an investment you make today because you know it will pay off some day in the the future.

All you have to do is be engaged in the present opportunity, and (individually or collectively) make the right decision in the moment. Consistent right decision is the key to successful momentum for any individual or organization."
